Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Your vision will become clear when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.

Carl Jung

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy has been found to reduce depression, anxiety and PTSD symptoms and is a supportive treatment in adjunct to the therapeutic process.

Our work with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions would be integrated in the therapy process. My approach to this work is we will work with this really effective treatment modality as an adjunct to somatic integrative therapy and your therapy goals.

How does it work? Simply said, ketamine assisted psychotherapy can help enhance and accelerate the therapeutic process, because it has been found to loosen the defenses that keep us stuck, so that we can have more insight, feel our emotions and body and process what is unresolved, and open us to greater insights and possibilities.

Ketamine sessions require preparation, 3 hours sessions, and integration. You would work closely with me in collaboration with a collaborative team to support you. After a ketamine assisted psychotherapy session(s), we will continue the integration process together, as I will be working with you closely, to enhance the benefits of embodied and real change into everyday life.

If you are currently working with a therapist, and seeing me for ketamine treatment only, your therapist, Sara Sentell, ND, LAc with the Ren Clinic and I will work closely together as a team to support you.

Upcoming: Winter Solstice KAP Grief Circle

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Group Series for Healthcare Providers

Co-group facilitation w/ Andrea Millen, PsyD

Andrea Millen, PsyD and I will be holding a Solstice KAP Grief Circle: honoring and tending to our grief, loss, dying, and death in these transitional times.

At the core of grief is often a longing to belong. Connection with others can offer potent support as we tend to our inner and collective hearts. On the darkest day of the year, in rhythm with the earth’s cycles, we will slow down, listen inward, and soften towards what is present. We will practice welcoming grief that is longing to be compassionately held and recognized.

Join us in a celebration of grief and gratitude through elemental ritual, embodiment practices, art and movement, collective sharing, and a ketamine group experiential. Together, we will co-create a sacred container to honor endings and letting go, while opening towards the emergence of new beginnings.
